WEATHER

The weather in Scotland varies considerably between locales: the east coast is drier than the west, the north-east sunnier than the north-west, and the south-east gets half the rain of the west coast. Even though the weather is variable, the light quality in Scotland, and the interplay between light and shade, can produce stunning light effects. Scotland’s long summer days (in June, there can be 18 hours of daylight) mean that shooting days can be significantly extended.
